Mission
In following my Rabbi, Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah), my call to ministry is based on Isaiah 61, as confirmed by Yeshua’s commandment of Matthew 28:19-20. By extension those congregations, ministries, and individuals that decide to follow my lead, as I follow Messiah, have decided that this is their mission as well:
- To proclaim the good news of the Kingdom of YHWH, and the New Covenant by which we are able to take up citizenship in His Kingdom.
- To proclaim freedom in Messiah, to lead the way to the experience of that freedom, and to minister to those afflicted and oppressed by, in captivity of, and in bondage to the “Babylon” of sin, false and pagan religions, the spirit of this world, and the god of this age.
- To proclaim the approaching day of redemption for YHWH’s creation, and the approaching day of wrath for those who have not entered the Kingdom of YHWH by entering a New Covenant relationship with Him.
- To minister “beauty for ashes” to those who have put on the “wedding garment” of the Bride of Messiah; promoting and nurturing their establishment as “Trees of righteousness planted by YHWH;” exhorting them to take up the mantles ‘Priests of YHWH,’ and ‘Servants of our Elohim;’ and leading them to “rebuild the old ruins, raise up the former wastes” left by those who have rejected YHWH and His Torah.
